Effective date: 10 October 2026

1. Purpose and Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines prohibited uses of GOHOSTAR network, server infrastructure, and web hosting services. This policy protects our server stability, our IP reputation, and the online security of all hosted clients.

2. Prohibited Content and Network Activities

You may not use GOHOSTAR services for any activity that is illegal or harmful, including but not limited to:

  • Spam and Unsolicited Bulk Email: Sending unsolicited bulk marketing emails, operating open mail relays, or utilizing scraped mailing lists.
  • Phishing & Fraudulent Sites: Hosting deceptive login portals, phishing pages, financial impersonations, or brand fraud scripts.
  • Malware and Exploits: Distributing trojans, botnets, keyloggers, ransomware, or scanning third-party networks for vulnerabilities.
  • Cryptocurrency Mining: Running unauthorized blockchain mining daemons (CPU/GPU) on shared or cloud VPS hosting platforms.
  • Copyright Infringement: Hosting pirated software, cracked license keys, or copyrighted digital media without proper authorization.

3. Fair Resource Utilization

In shared hosting environments, no single customer may consume excessive server CPU, I/O bandwidth, or memory tables that degrades performance for other users. Accounts exceeding resource quotas will be notified and advised to upgrade to Business Hosting or Cloud VPS.

4. Enforcement and Violations

Violations of this AUP may result in immediate suspension or termination of the offending service without prior notice to protect our server cluster. Severe illegal activities will be reported to appropriate law enforcement authorities in India.
